Material positioning: This is a value-range gold-tone option for clients who want decorative permanent jewellery at a lower price point. For a more premium piece with better long-term gold appearance and higher material value, PMJ recommends 14K gold filled.

Gold plating is a surface finish and can gradually show wear from friction, moisture and chemical exposure. It should not be presented as equivalent to gold filled.

To help preserve the plated finish, avoid harsh cleaners, perfume directly on the chain and prolonged chlorine exposure. Rinse and dry after water exposure.
